Scratch Masters Approved!
On the eve of the New Year, winners of the open competition for school teachers – Scratch Master were determined in Orsha.
45 teachers – participants of an innovation project providing for the introduction of Scratch into extracurricular school students' activities – competed in 5 categories. The finals were held in the form of public project presentation.
Jury Chairman Irina Vasilyeva, Deputy Director at the HTP Educational Center:
"The main objective of the competition was to improve the professional skills of Scratch teachers through dissemination of the best methodological experience of the innovation project participants."

2nd prize – Angela Tereshchenkova, Lida Secondary School No.17
Open Elective Class for 6th-Grade Students
1st prize – Natalia Snytko, Orsha Secondary School No.12
2nd prize – Olga Hitrik, Baran Secondary School No.15
All the winners were awarded diplomas and useful devices (notebooks and tablets).

During the competition, the contest for the best photo of a Scratch class was conducted. The winner – Irina Shibeko, Orsha Secondary School No.2 – was chosen by the participants and received a digital camera.
The competition was organized by the Education Department of the Vitebsk Region Executive Committee, the Hi-Tech Park, the Education, Sport and Tourism Department of the Orsha District Executive Committee, and the HTP Educational Center.
The HTP resident-companies Adform BY, SaM Solutions, and StyleSoft provided financial support.
