Winners of the National Contest Programming in Scratch Determined

On April 23, Orsha hosted the finals of the national contest Programming in Scratch.
295 projects were submitted by school students, including 85 projects in the World of Animation category, 137 – in the Quest Game category, and 73 – in the Educational Project in Scratch category.
Students from Minsk and the Vitebsk region were the most active and send 99 and 98 projects correspondingly. 30 projects were prepared by students from the Grodno region, 24 – from the Grodno region, 18 – from the Mogilev region, 8 – from the Brest region.
Judges of the contest selected 8 projects in each category to be presented at the finals in Orsha. All the 24 students received finalist certificates and prizes.

Informatics teacher of the Grodno Secondary School No.37 Olga Murina was praised for having trained 10 participants of the contest, with three of them becoming finalists.
Aleksandr Segodnik, Chairman of the Standing Commission on Education, Culture and Science of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, came to Orsha to congratulate the winners.
The contest was sponsored by the HTP resident companies Brimit and Belka Games.
